Allison Maudlin is New Meridian’s Vice President of Marketing, charged with increasing brand awareness and leading business development strategies in markets across the United States.
It’s a great role for someone who is naturally curious and enjoys traveling and exploring the American South from her home outside New Orleans. The Gulf Coast is a particular favorite.
Allison has more than two decades of marketing, sales, and strategic partnership experience, specializing in education and education technology for the past 12 years. Most recently, Allison served as the director of marketing at Varsity Tutors, where she led the company’s launch into the K-12 market.
Prior to that, Allison was the vice president of growth at CenterPoint Education Solutions, where she led the marketing, sales, partnership, and product teams focused on K-12 curriculum, assessment, and professional learning solutions. Allison also managed marketing at Pacific Metrics, an ACT technology company, where she specialized in the state, district, and consortia assessment markets.
Allison joined New Meridian to advance the mission to increase equity in education through innovative assessment solutions. “The data that high-quality assessments provide make a profound impact on the quality of teaching,” she said. “Administrators, educators, parents, and students deserve solutions they can trust and that provide actionable data that can be used in real time to increase student achievement.”
Allison holds an MBA from Louisiana State University, Shreveport, and a BA in Communication Design and Marketing from California State University, Chico. Originally from the Bay Area in California, Allison now resides in the suburbs of New Orleans with her husband, 10-year-old son, and dog.
