Chief Information Officer
Tauseef Khan has spent the last two decades with a front-row seat to some of the most dramatic technological changes of our age, from global connectivity and mobile technology to the rise of Big Data and the migration to the cloud.
His resume contains senior leadership roles at marquee organizations like 3M, Rackspace Technology, Borland Software and Blackberry. He even holds a patent in data mining.
What is Tauseef excited about today? Architecting next generation systems for educational assessment as New Meridian’s Chief Information Officer.
“Our advanced technologies enable us to provide a richer, more authentic testing experience for all students,” he said.
Tauseef started his journey in technology by earning an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University, with an emphasis in computer information systems. That journey led to a number of senior leadership roles.
Most recently, Tauseef was the Chief Technology Officer for the City of Austin, where he and his family call home. There, he was in charge of citywide technology and data strategy, cybersecurity, IT modernization, smart city and emerging technologies before joining New Meridian.
“I enjoy digital transformation and I enjoy modernizing IT,” Tauseef said. “Technology plays a very central role in New Meridian’s growth. Everything hinges on technology. It is pivotal.”
