MAST Science PILOT Portal
About the Program
The MAST Science Pilot provides students in grades 6, 7, and 8 with science assessments aligned to the Montana Science Standards. The pilot consists of individual “testlets,” which are administered during a four‑week testing window in Spring 2026. Participating districts may determine the sequence in which the science testlets are given to ensure alignment with their local curriculum’s scope and sequence. Each testlet is designed to be completed within a single class period, supporting efficient and classroom‑friendly implementation.
