Share Your Voice to Help Shape the Next Generation of Assessment in Louisiana
New Meridian wants to talk to parents and students in Louisiana
New Meridian is partnering with the Louisiana Department of Education to design the next generation of state assessment—and we need your help.
We are inviting 3rd through 8th parents and students to participate together in a 1-hour virtual interview to better understand the impact of assessment in your state and how it can be improved.
Your input is critical to make this effort successful. Lend your voice to help transform assessment to better serve all students.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of assessment in partnership with your state.
Here is how you can participate:
- Sign Up. Click the link below and fill out the questionnaire.
- Complete the Interview. Selected participants will engage in a 1-hour virtual interview with a New Meridian team member. Interviews will take place from October to December of 2022 and will be conducted via Zoom. Your feedback will be used to influence the initial design of the assessments and to modify them as the system is created.
- Receive Compensation. All participants will be compensated for their time with their choice of either a $100 Amazon or Visa virtual gift card. Parents and students who interview together will each receive the gift card of their choice.
Who Can Participate
Parents. Parents who have students currently in grades 3-8 will be selected.
Students. Students currently in grades 3-8 will be selected. Ideally, parents and students will interview together.
